Christmas in March...

As everyone knows I am way behind in the blog world.  I keep asking myself, do I forget about the months that have passed and start now or do i just post like a mad women & get caught up? So I decided on the later. As the title indicates I am going to start with Christmas.  Jacob and I celebrated our 1st Christmas together, & I have to say it in my eyes it was almost perfect!  We had so much fun decorating the house & combining our decorations(I have to say I didn't bring a lot to the table so to speak).  I think it turned out quite fabulous.

You can't have Christmas without a nativity.  I loved my nativity on our hutch.

My favorite decoration of the season, the berry banister.  How flawless is this?  I can't take any credit for this its one of Jacob Creations & I love it!!!

An up close view of our Berries...

Just tilt your head to the side and you can see the beautiful tree that Jacob designed.  Seriously how lucky am I to have such a fabulous talented husband?

Christmas morning.  Santa found his way to our house...

The stockings weren't exactly hung by the chimney, but they
were placed with care by our tree.

We crafted our own stockings.  They weren't quite dry when we put them out
so the glitter kinda ran down the stockings. Oops!

This is my surprised face as I opened my beautiful ring that Jacob got me. Funny story...so being our first Christmas together &  just getting into our house and all that fun stuff, I thought it would be a good idea to put a limit on what we spent on each other for Christmas.  I didn't phrase that quite right because on Christmas morning I had gifts for Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Chinese New Year, Good Friday, Boxing Day, a few other holidays, and of course Christmas.  Jacob did stay within the limit for my Christmas gift just as I had said. I just got bonus holidays to celebrate that morning.  Needless to say I was utterly & completely spoiled by Jacob.  The poor guy only got Christmas presents & stocking stuffers...(ok I admit I did go over the limit too, but not as much! )

Looks like FUN! I was glad to see Santa didn't forget the Diet Coke! Your decorations are beautiful! I especially the berry banister...I would totally steal that if I knew where you live now!

Sounds like Jacob! I think that is one of the best nativities I've seen. Also seeing decorations in Jacob's house that I've seen in my room for years is fun!
