A few weeks ago we took Maude to see Santa at the Jubilee of Trees. Each year the Jubilee chooses an IHC organization that needs new equipment or funds to update current facilities. This year the NICU was on the receiving end. We couldn't pass up a chance to give even a small amount back to the people and the place that took such good care of our little peanut the first 14 days of her life. What better time & place to see the man in red than this? Another bonus of the Jubilee Santa...for a small donation, over 3 dollars, they let you take pictures with your own camera. That way you can print as many & whatever size you want. I was a little nervous for Maude's first visit with Santa. I just knew she was going to be screaming and crying the whole time. Either way we were going to get a picture. You can't have your first Christmas without a picture with Santa. She surprised us, she didn't scream or cry, she just wouldn't take her eyes off him.
She's not quite sure what to think of Jolly Ol' Saint Nick
She never took her eyes off of him....
The NICU had asked for some pictures of the babies who had spent time there. We sent some in not knowing for sure how they would be displayed. They made ornaments with the nicu pics on one side & a current pic of the babies. We couldn't resist taking a pic of Maude's ornament.

How sweet! I love that she wouldn't take her eyes off him. Plus, how cute are her shoes!!
There is too much to comment on for reals. I love her love for Santa, thought the NICU ornament was an awesome idea, and she looks so big!
