And the Oscar goes to....

For those of you who do not know Jacob, you first need to understand his love for the Oscars.  I can't really relay how much this night means to him.  He LOVES it!!!! His love isn't just for the broadcast of the actual ceremony, but for all things leading up to that night as well.  I didn't quite grasp this until I went through the season with him.  I LOVED seeing him get excited over the nominations, all the oscar buzz, the oscar drama-let me tell you there is more than you think-, the giddy anticipation the night before the ceremony, & of course the big show.  For the past 7 years Jacob has hosted an Oscar party for family and friends.  This year I had the pleasure of being co-host & guest of honor.  Each year there is a theme to go along with the party.  This year's theme was CaRnIvAL.  The food, decorations, & attire were all centered around this Brazilian party.  It was colorful, delicious, & a total blast.  In all the excitement & preparation I did not take one single picture.  So I am very grateful to Jacob's mom who did a fantastic job with her camera & captured it all.  (Thank you Willyne)
